At Northern Australia Bushfire Solutions we know that there is a need for greater bushfire education and preparedness in communities susceptible to bushfires. The process of actively participating in community engagement and the education of the community organisations and government groups such as schools is something that we are passionate about.

We encourage and facilitate discussions / workshops amongst groups and community members, engaging local communities to be involved and can assist in the interpretation of factual readiness information and requirements.

North Australia Bushfire Solutions has a rich history of collaboration with large organisations including government agencies, landholders and Indigenous groups and communities across northern Australia aiming to support and develop Bushfire Mitigation Programs and deliver practical, dynamic training.

Prescribed Burning

North Australia Bushfire Solutions has extensive experience in planning and managing prescribed burns in the savannah grasslands of northern Australia and the deserts landscapes further south. Controlled (Planned) burns are commonly employed to protect critical assets and infrastructure, reduce fuel loads, promote biodiversity and mitigate the risk of uncontrolled wildfires. Traditional landowners and pastoralists often plan controlled burns during specific seasons based on factors such as weather conditions, fuel load, and ecological considerations.
